§ 118-305. Appeal; notice; hearing.

  • Any person applying for registration as a taxicab driver or any taxicab operator aggrieved by the decision of the director made pursuant to the provisions of this article may appeal the decision to the city council by filing a notice of appeal, within 15 days of the rendition of the director's decision, on the form supplied by the department of regulatory affairs. Within a reasonable time thereafter, the city council shall conduct a public hearing on the appeal, and shall notify the appellant, personally or by registered mail at the address indicated on the notice of the appeal, of the date, time and place of the hearing.
