§ 70-191. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Abandoned personal property means the property in the custody, control or official possession of the police department which has been held for a period of six months from the date of its initial possession, control or custody by the police department and has not been reclaimed or retaken by any third party having claim, interest or title to the property.
